Bio
Hi, my name is Avery Chahl. I am a doctoral candidate at The Pennsylvania State University in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies working with Drs. Gregory M Fosco and Kelly L Rulison. In my doctoral training, I have a focus on quantitative methodology and prevention/intervention, with a certification in translational science. I am currently an NIH T32 predoctoral fellow in the Prevention and Methodology Training Program funded by the National Institute of Drug Abuse.
I completed my M.S. in Human Development and Family Studies in my current department, and have a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Health Communications from the University of Texas.
In my free time, I love to travel (on a thrifty budget as a graduate student). The rest of my time is spent reading for pleasure, and spending time with my loved ones. I am a proud Houston, Texas native- yeehaw!
